After Florida and Spain, now Morocco is under threat from the international financial crisis. A glut of unexceptional, mid-range and overpriced properties in addition to developers without real strategies for growth are the principal
factors accounting for the current slump in the Moroccan property sector.
In this current crisis, Florida may be a possibility for investment since prices have fallen by 40% and the Euro is stabilising at around $1.55. Elsewhere, caution is the watchword.
